Join SDSMAPAC

Every year decisions are made in Pierre that impact your ability to deliver quality care. Through your membership in SDSMAPAC, the political arm of the SDSMA, you will provide critical political support to the SDSMA's legislative agenda.

Active memberships to the SDSMAPAC shall be available to any physician, Alliance member, spouse, or member of the SDSMA staff.  The Board of Directors is authorized to establish additional categories of membership to include medical students and residents, and members of the South Dakota Medical Group Management Association.  SDSMAPAC membership year will run from January 1 through December 31 of each calendar year.

Or, you can download a 2010 remittance form and either fax, mail or e-mail to the SDSMA office as directed by the form. (FEC regulations require that the remittance form only be available to eligible members, so to download the form you must have your SDSMA username and password. Contact Andrew Johnson if you need login information.)

Board of Directors

Become a SDSMAPAC Board member and be involved in making decisions to support political campaigns.  Board members consist of one physician and one Alliance member for every 50 members in each of the twelve district medical societies.  If 50 percent of the members in a district join SDSMAPAC, the district is entitled to one additional physician and one additional Alliance member on the Board.  Directors must be members of SDSMAPAC.
