Join us for the 2022 SDSMA Annual Leadership Conference! With presentations, discussions, networking opportunities and social events, the Annual Leadership Conference is a great time to share ideas and learn.

    Program (PDF)

This year's theme is social determinants of health. Physicians have long experienced the impact of the social drivers of health and recognize that the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age have a major influence on patient health and the cost of health care in America. The social drivers of health have a profound impact on not only the health of patients, but on physicians' ability to advance health equity. Health outcomes and reducing health care costs cannot be improved without addressing the social determinants of health. This means physicians need strategies and structures in place to support efforts to address it.

The conference is a benefit of your SDSMA membership. There is no conference registration fee (ticket purchase required for some events and meals).
