The SDMGMA is dedicated to the quality of health care management in South Dakota. To enhance the quality of health care services, SDMGMA assists their members in developing effective and efficient practices.

The SDMGMA is dedicated to:

• The promotion of professional growth and development of members.
• Increasing visibility of medical group managers and their services.
• Providing a variety of educational opportunities to all members.
• Providing opportunities for members to share information and experiences of mutual interest.
• Maintaining active relationships with other key public and private organizations that affect the management, funding, and delivery of quality health care services.
• Legislative involvement to represent the medical community and to be a reliable source of legislative information.
